*** THE HEART DON'T LIE ***
*** AND ***
*** THE DREAM LIVES ON ***

By Bonnie McGill

Sometimes the greatest dreams in life,
Don't turn out like they should,
But still we hope the dreams we have,
Will do somebody good.

Life is like a deck of cards,
Who knows which way they'll fall,
But wouldn't it be sad if we,
Never dreamed the dream at all.

But the heart don't lie,
And the dream lives on,
Till they lay you down,
In a field of stone.

Do you ever pay attention to,
That burning deep inside?
It's like you have a gift from God,
you don't have the right to hide.
But are you brave enough to show,
Just where that gift comes from,
Or afraid the ones you tell it to
, Will turn from you and run?

But the heart don't lie
And the dream lives on
Till they lay you down
In a field of stone

Will you get past the fears inside,
And hold your head up high,
And break down, that last wall standing,
Before all your dreams have died?

Go on and live the dream, it's yours,
And even if you can,
Touch the heart of one lost soul
You'll know, exactly where you stand.

Cause the heart don't lie,
And the dream lives on,
Till they lay you down,
In a field of stone.

No the heart don't lie
And the dream lives on
Till they lay you down
In a field of stone

Till they lay you down
In a field of stone
Till they lay you dawn
In a field of stone

Till they lay you down
In a field of stone .
